KRAUSE Sarah Krause, 16, of Westerville, Monday, September 13, 2004. Sarah was a self proclaimed Science Geek and Orch Dork. As founding member and President of the Westerville North Science Olympiad team, Sarah took great pride in trying to make everyone else as excited about science as she was. Inspired by everything chemistry and geology, she was hoping to become a geochemist after college. Sarah volunteered her lunch hours to the Westerville North?s geology teacher helping grade papers. She played viola with the school orchestra, sitting second chair and with the school's string choir. She also played 2nd chair for the Wright Orchestra in the College of Wooster summer program.

Through her years at North, Sarah worked with many organizations including Warriors in Action, Interact and Key Club. Academically gifted and an all around nice girl, she was chosen by her principal her sophomore year to represent her high school officially with him to another school. She was also chosen to serve as a mentor to incoming freshman students. A member of Temple Israel, Sarah was to help the art teacher this year on Sunday mornings. She was also a Youth group member. Sarah delighted in life and will be missed.
