Grant Recipients- Fall 2009
 

Sarah's family is happy to officially announce that $2,087 has been granted to the Westerville School District to fund projects to enrich middle and high school science student experiences.

All of these are new opportunities for Westerville City Schools students. Krause’s family members stated, “We are happy to fund them, in Sarah’s memory, in the hope that they will help our students discover the joys that the natural sciences can offer.”

 
Minnie Herrick., Westerville Central High School, $525 to establish a  Science Olympiad Team;  
Patrick Herak., Westerville North High School, $600 for the Westerville North/Westerville Metroparks Community Partnership  

Susan Wasmund, Westerville North High School

John McCoy, Walnut Springs Middle School.

$962 for the Science Olympiad Teams participation in the Mentor Invitational.  

In addition, we made an additional grant of $450 to Beth Eddy, Westerville South High School, to make glass with her students and then turn their glass pieces into art objects. This grant will be officially announced in the spring. This makes the total Fall Disbursement $2,537 to enrich Westerville District Science Student experiences.
